A beautiful day was spent Friday birding the area in and around the Methow
Valley north and south of Twisp. In all, about 100 species (including the
trip back across Stevens Pass)

Of special interest:

Grasshopper Sparrow-6-8 singing birds on Soda Lake Road north of Brewster
Long-billed Curlew on the same road
Wilson's Phalarope-6 on the same road

Grasshopper sparow was a State bird for me.

Chukar-Near Alta Lake SP
Catbird-Alta Lake SP
Veery-Near Carlton
Nashville Warblers-near Methow
Bullock's Oriole-not amazing in itself, but the abundance surprised me ~80
Lewis' Woodpecker in the cliffs
