I am traveling to Hong Kong in late June or early July on business. I hope
to have a couple of days to bird at the end of the trip. I just obtained a
copy of Birds of Hong Kong (Viney et al.) and also have looked at the Hong
Kong articles that appeared in Birding Magazine in 1991/92. These references
are very useful and have given me the big picture.

Does anyone have any specific, personal experience birding in Hong Kong ?
Id appreciate info anybody has on birds, birding sites, additional
references, as well as logistics (getting around, local guides, good
restaurants, etc...). Unfortunately, I wont have the time to travel
farther afield (just the New Territories and HK Island). Thanks in advance,
