specific status for 3 groups of the Sepia-brown Wren from n. Colombia to =
c. Bolivia.

Avian abundance in riparian zones of three forest types in the Cascades =
Mountains, Oregon. Robert G Anthony, Gregory A Green, Eric D Forsmann =
and S Kim Nelson. pp 280-291. On Blue River and McKenzie River R.D.s =

richness and density not significantly different among stand types in =
winter.

Habitat changes and success of artificial nests on an alkaline flat. =
Marcus T Koenen, David M Leslie Jr and Mark Gregory. pp 292-301. =
Success of simulated nests of Least tern and Snowy Plover at Salt Plains =

Nolte and Timothy E Fulbright. pp 302-316. Nesting in Mesquite =
shrublands at Welder Wildlife Refuge. =20

Breeding biology of the Brown Noddy on Tern Island, Hawaii. Jennifer L =

many aspects of its breeding biology from other colonies in Atlantic and =
Pacific.

Discrimination between regional song forms in the Northern Parula. =

from central Georgia.

Avoidance of cabbage fields by Snow Geese. J Russell Mason and Larry =
Clark. pp 369-371. Authors state that, contrary to prevailing belief, =
the olfactory performance of birds in general is on a par with that of =

cover crop were used less often when the previous crop had been cabbage, =
rather than peppers or soybeans.

Garrido and Arturo Kirkconnell. pp 372-374. Sexes are similar in =
phenotype and vocalizations in assimilis, whereas they differ between =
sexes in phoeniceus. Plumage of nestlings and SY males as well as =
mating system differs between assimilis and phoeniceus. Evidence favors =
treatment of taxon endemic to Cuba as a species, Agelaius assimilis.
