I received a kindly suggestion in response to my babbling about the
nesting goshawks. I'll include some anonymous excerpts, which are written
much better than any paraphrasing I am capable of...


USFS is, in fact, conducting a survey of goshawk nesting sites.
And, I believe that they are not giving out any information as
first of all they don't want the birds disturbed and secondly
there's a chance someone could get whacked by one of the adults
as they are noted for attacking intruders more so than other
hawks..

I suggest you post to Tweeters that USFS requests that we
don't go looking for gos nests and do not give out the location
of this one.. ^^^^^^
