In the latest "Winging It" newsletter of the American Birding Association they
have announced a joint publishing project with the Bureau of Reclamation,
"Birdfinding on Bureau of Reclamation Land." I suspect there are forty Tweeters
who each know more about birds on BOR land than the BOR does. Participation in
the project could be a major impetus for the BOR to speed up efforts to return
land to its original state. The ABA editor of the project will be Alan Versaw
who can be reached at winging at aba.org I'm sure he would appreciate any kind of
help, from reviewing manuscripts to writing them. Tweeters from WA, OR and ID
cover a great portion of the land beign written about.
