Scott,

Indian Camp is along the headwaters of Rock Island Creek in SW Douglas Co=
=2E
It has some of the best desert riparian (along with Douglas Creek - 10 mi=
les
to the east) habitat in the state. Other species nesting along the upper=

reaches of Rock Island Creek include: Gray Catbird, Black-headed Grosbeak=
,
Red-naped Sapsucker, House Wren, Veery, Black-capped Chickadee, etc. Gre=
at =

stands of Quaking Aspen, some Black Cottonwood. I don't have my atlas he=
re
in my office, so I'll get the directions to you tomorrow (good roads). I=
'll
send them to you only (unless other tweeters would like them posted to al=
l).

cheers,
Dan
