An addenda to my trip report:

On the way home, we stopped to look for Burrowing Owls on Dodson Rd. I've
never failed to find them here, but this year I searched the black pipes
put in there and came up empty. I'm referring to the stretch of sagebrush
on the east side of Dodson Rd. between Frenchman Hills Wasteway and 7 SW.
Has anybody else seen these birds this year?
