Joe, Thanks for the info on Harleys up the American River. Did you sense any
breeding activity? What is the vegetation like at the rivers edge at this
spot? Overhanging willows or alders or bare embankments? I am asking these
questions to gain a better sense of breeding habitat for this uncommon and
local species (in Yakima County).
Any info you could provide would be appreciated!
