Subject: homeless barred owl

dan,

i have a vet friend who has been trying to find a home for an injured
barred owl he has nursed back to health. this bird broke a wing in an
accident and although healthy, will never fly again. as this bird is
endangered, federal law requires that it be given to a federally certified
facility. if one cannot be found it must be put down. any suggestions
would be greatly appreciated.

thx
