Subject: possible tern nest site?

Tweets,

I had the pleasure of gazing out over Fidalgo Bay this Sunday. This is
the bay snuggled along the east edge of Fidalgo Island; upon which one
may find the fine city of Anacortes, the departure point for the
San Juan Islands ferries, and the nearly pristine Washington Park
(which retains unmolested native forests of both fir/hemlock/cedar, and
quite surprisingly some juniper/shore-pine/Madrone stands on the Fidalgo
Head trail).

I saw plenty of Caspian terns out on the small islands in this bay, but
did not have a spotting scope or other means of actually looking through
the grassy knolls on top of these little islands. If anyone is really
earnest about finding tern nesting sites, I would say this is a good
possibility. Access would be restricted to some kind of small, beachable,
watercraft (kayak/canoe, but heavens no to anykind of "PWC" - industry
code for BLOODY NOISY JET SKI, umm I mean "personal water craft").
