Tweets,
Just returned from a week of birding east of the mountains and though
there were a couple of nice suprises (Boreal Chickadee on Mt. Spokane
and Scaled Quail at the beginning of Umptanum Rd.) I will give a
further details tomorrow but for now we went to see the Magnolia
Warbler in Twisp yesterday afternon and again at 7:30 this morning
the bird was very visible both times, and once it flew about 3 ft. in
front of me acros the road. The irony was that I had forgot to check
the birdbox and only found out about it because we ran into the
original finder of the bird (his property area) while birding the
Aeneas Valley road east of Tonasket. Hope it stays a while so
everybody can get over to see it.
-Best Luck
