I just got a letter from Mary Ruth Thayne, of Sequim, who said that 5 Mute
Swans landed on Sequim Bay in February. She said the Fish and Wildlife
people "took quite an interest in them," but didn't know anything about
their ultimate fate. I wonder if these birds came from Victoria across the
straits? I'm sending this in just in case the compilers among us are
interested.
