>36-38 species, plus mosquitoes.
>
>New species???:
Bonaparte's Gull A bit too far out on the lake to be positive
of the ID. This would be a new bird on my
Marymoor list. Birds appeared to be in
> basic or prebasic plumage.
>
>Nesting & immatures - mostly fledged birds:
Pied-billed Grebe Adult with one young.
Canada Goose Several family groups.
> Mallard Numerous mothers with young.
Downy Woodpecker What appeared to be a family group.
Tree Swallow Many fully fledged young flying around.
American Crow What appeared to be several families with young.
Bushtit Young have fledged from the nest on the boardwalk.
We saw a family with young very near the nest.
Bewick's Wren Another apparent family group.
American Robin A ton 'o spotted young.
CEDAR WAXWING Nest found next to boardwalk just north of lake.
The adult sat absolutely motionless next to the
nest as we passed by. As we left, it flew down to
the nest.

No sign of activity at the Bald Eagle nest. Perhaps the young have
fledged?
