Andy points out a piece of info that I forgot to mention on this
sighting. The habitat that the bird was found in was on top of a
conifer (looked like spruce it was about 100ft. away) in amongst what
would have to be described usings Andy's words if I may interior wet
belt vegetation. For those who are familar with this location I can
decribe it quite specifically: When you are nearing the top it is the
last road (w/gate) veering off to the left probably about 500-700 ft.
from the top (elevation) and about a quarter of a mile on the rd. I
saw only one bird that sat in the top of the conifer singing for
approx. 1 min. The weather conditions were quite cold and it had just
finished about a 1 hr. snow flurry. (Who knows maybe the bird thought
it was late summer already because of the snow,doubtful but funny
anyway to think about)
