Here are some of my Spokane County sighting that may be of interest:

2/13=09No. Pintails started showing up at Saltese Flats along with 7=20
=09Violet Green Swallows. No. Harriers soaring extremely high above=20
=09the flats.
2/22=09Killdeer seen. Now individuals seen sporadically throughout county.
=094 West Bluebirds seen flying from fencepost to fencepost next to=20
=09Little Spokane River.=20
=09Also heard the First Pacific Chorus Frog call of spring.
2/28=09West Meadowlarks started popping up next to the roads in West Cnty.
=09At Liberty Lake a pair of Canvanbacks were with several Redheads=20
=09and two pairs of Lesser Scaups.
2/29=09Beautiful Day at Saltese Flats! Lots of Can Geese, Mallards and 27
=09Tundra Swans, Pintails, Green-wing Teal, Wigeon and 2 Adult Bald=20
=09Eagles and 2 imm. The imm. BAEA were putting on a show with the=20
=09strong winds - doing a lot of courtship activity, flying upside down
=09clasping talons, exchanging a stick..
3/1=09White-wing Crossbills seen at Mt Spokane just north of the X-cou=EEtr=
y
=09ski building. Also gray jays, pine siskins, etc..

Sharp-shinned observed building nest already and Pygmy and Saw-whet Owls=20
are calling at/after dusk. Spring is springing but I hear an artic storm=20
is supposed to drop some more white stuff on us Sunday & Monday.

I'm enjoying Spokane as you can tell.
