Any tweeters with information on a UW Spring Extension class called
"Biology and Conservation of Birds" or its instructor David Manuwal?
I have read the short course notes:
"Major principles of natural history, avian repoductive
biology, population ecology, and national and interna-
tional conservation strategies for both hunted and unhunted
birds. Emphasis on western United States. Prerequisite:
introductory biology. Instructor: David Manuwal, professor,
ecosystem science and conservation."

If you have any personal knowledge of this class or the instructor
please respond to me directly. Thanks,

John Hebert

PS: I saw a light-morph Rough-legged hawk over Spencer I. on Saturday.
Dark carpal patches, solid dark belly band, white tail with a wide
subterminal band (immature?).
