What species of waterfowl is it that looks like a mallard duck but has
a pinched together head above the eyes? A bufflehead? A grebe? They're
less abundant than a mallard or coot, but prevalent on Lake Washington.

Just a dummy who could have saved myself time had I merely gone to REI
to pick up an Audobon Society guide, but the network resources are
mesmerizing.
