Jack Nisbet is an old friend and good birder/naturalist/writer who lived
in Chewelah for a number of years in the 1970s+. In his first book he
tells the story of the white raven that visited the Chewelah town dump
regularly for some years. We started the Chewalah CBC years back. He
now lives in Spokane after a stint teaching creative writing in Georgia.
