This was forwarded to me from a friend on BIRDCHAT. I have seen osprey
flying low over my house in Everett with orange fish that sure look like
koi. They were headed from an area where there were no lakes nearby and
the birds were flying parallel to the bay which was about a mile distant.
I always suspected the osprey were raiding someone's koi pond. Wish my
property was large enough to dig a pond...
