Yesterday (Sat., 3/9) a group of three of us saw at least 800 Sandhill
cranes in the fields east of Othello, pretty much exactly where Andy said
they would be. What fantastic birds!

Also found in the Potholes area a group of 6 Mountain bluebirds near Soda
lake. Isn't this a little early for them?


Andy:
The sight of enormous numbers of Sandhill Cranes in eastern Washington in
both spring and fall is surely one of the most impressive sights birdwise
here. Its worth the trip.

You will also see many other birds too!
