A quick trip to Lake Sammamish State Park resulted in a beautiful Eurasian
Wigeon hanging out with the flock (30+) American Wigeon.

Around the house the Varied Thrushes are trying to out vocalize the Winter
Wrens and I got to watch an interesting episode with three Flickers. Along
the trunk of one tree there was a pair that was involved with a lot of head
bobbing and vocalization, and about five feet up the trunk was a single bird
on a branch that was watching. I don't remember seeing three flickers in one
area before.
