Someone wanted to know what the breeding display for a rufous-sided
(ahem....)Spotted Towhee was, but I accidentally deleted the message.
>From the Birder's Handbook:
"From elevated perch male spreads tail showing white spots,
raises wings and fluffs body feathers; may rapidly spread and fold tail
and wings to flash white spots."
