I'm drivng from Seattle to San Luis Obispo Co, California, this weekend. I
know it's getting a bit late in the season, but any current hot tips for
finding MOUNTAIN PLOVER somewhere along the I-5 corridor, north or central
California, but probably more likely somewhere on the Carrizo Plain, SLO Co.
As much detailed directions that you could provide will be appreciated.
I've got the AAA County maps for San Luis Obispo Co. I also have the
Lane/ABA guide for SoCal, and Westrich for NoCal which are not all that
specific for a trip through the area which has to be quick. Reply privately
is fine. Oregon too, if there happens to be an unlikely 'easy stray' along
U.S. rt.97 somewhere. Thanks.

Hey Greg & Brad. I'll be in touch soon.
