y know or did someone also tell you the reason the "seagull" is
the state bird of Utah? I only know the bare bones...apparently, sometime in
the first few years the Mormons settled in Utah, there was a plague of
grasshoppers (locusts?) and gulls came (miraculously?) and ate them and
thereby saved the crops.
