Unfortunately these individuals who fail to be true stewards of our
environment, with all their influence, know repealed or partial
experiences when it comes to our wildlands and wildlife. Hopefully those
of us who live "complete" and fulfilled lives in regard to true
stewardship will strengthen our resolve to influence those around us and
those far from us (in distance and paradigm). Be sure we influence our
local area, and don't forget the kids. A group of economist came
out with their findings that the "Rainier Factor" is more significant to
a healthy economy than they even thought. Sadly, the money thing and "the
economy stupid" is important, but let's not forget the economy of the
forest and the habitats which we try to steward, be they large or small,
urban, rural, or wild. "Nature Bats Last"
