I have decided to part with the journal part of my library, including
the following:
Wilson Bulletin--complete from 1968-present. Can also provide future
issues as I am a life member.
Journal of Field Ornithology (formerly Bird-Banding): 1967-1976, and 1991-92.
Auk: 1966-1975, and 1991-92; and 10 year index 1981-1990.
Journal of Wildlife Management 1951, 1966, and 1968-75
Wildlife Monographs 17-43.
Ecology 1970
Condor 1968-1975.
Biological Conservation volumes 1-4 (1969-1972).
If you are interested in any of these, I can provide further details.
It may also be of interest to some that I donated to the Portland
Library copies of reports (formerly litigation-sensitive and therefore
not readily available) of all the
studies that were done on the effects of the Exxon Valdez oil spill on
natural resources, including invertebrates, mammals, fish, and birds.
There were 13 bird studies, including black oystercatcher, peregrine,
glaucous-winged gull, marbled murrelet, pigeon guillemot, black-legged
kittiwake, fork-tailed petrel, common murre, as well as three studies
covering a complex of
species--boat- and aerial surveys of birds of Prince William Sound and the
Kenai Peninsula, and an analysis of the total mortality of birds
in the spill area (475,000 seabirds estimated killed).
