<What are the flowering trees with the small pink flowers that are
<blooming now?

If you are on the West side of the Cascades, I'll bet they're Flowering Plum,
"Prunus" many species. I have one in my back yard but I live on the East
side and it won't bloom for another 2-3 weeks at least! Lucky you! When we
went to Seattle last spring, we saw them in bloom all along I-90 from
Bellevue through Mercer Island.
