For those interested in what shrub or tree that RUHU is feeding in Anna &
I usually use Arthur R. Kruckeberg's _ Gardening with Native Plants of
the Pacific Northwest _. Admittedly, it has mostly black & white photos
& drawings & doesn't fit well in a birding bag. However, it's much
easier for non-botanists to use than Hitchcock & much more complete than
most books I've seen attempting to cover all of North America.
