Hi Tweets,

"trailing clouds of glory..." is the line that came to mind. Holst's
spookily ethereal 'Neptune' section of The Planets'. Blue ice. That last
was me, not it. Cold, last night.

You could see that little fuzzball really scoot, too. Literally.

If you're scoping it, pick a star very close by and you can see Comet H's
motion relative to it in a scope over a *two* minute period. When you see
that, you'll see it's *real*, you'll suddenly see it in three dimensions,
you'll wonder if (yikes!) only 9 million miles is really comfortably
distant enough from something 10 km in diameter ripping past us at that
speed.
Though outside in a quiet place for at least two hours, not one sound of a
migrant bird, not a whisper. Except for the stars' cold songs and the
comet's strange solo, as usual pitched way too high for this little human
mind, the sky was silent.
