I just wanted to put on record two observations from an airplane flying low
over Grays Harbor just SW of Hoquiam on Saturday, 23 March.

2 Snow Geese in a flock of Canadas (uncommon in Grays Harbor)

1 Caspian Tern (early)

I was helping to train observers who are going to be censusing birds on the
outer coast for the next couple of years. When the weather is nice, it's
unsurpassed enjoyment to fly at that altitude along the outer coast.
