If you had asked me yesterday whether both sexes of crows participate in
nest construction, I would have had to answer "not sure."
But right now I'm watching two crows bringing in nesting material to a big
sequoia tree across from my window. The interesting thing is that they
arrived within a few seconds of each other. Wish I had the time to monitor
them daily and seasonally, but at least I can enjoy the occasional glimpse
into their domestic life.
