Last year, I spent the most breathtaking 5 minutes of my life
photographing a male Northern harrier in the same exact location, hunting
along the creek just on the Pullman side of the trailer park. Keep on the
lookout for the male!

Another great place to see Harriers is the lake near Joseph Whidbey Park
on Whidbey Island. But that's a long drive from the Palouse...
