Mike: For some reason I've been thinking much about chats lately, so I
thought I'd ask an authority. To what extent are chats known to breed on
the west side in WA? Sometime in the late 70's or early 80's I was shown
a persistently singing male in a blackberry/hardhack thicket near Mud
Bay, between Olympia and Shelton. I knew it was unusual at the time, and
probably have notes on it, but am wondering what the *whole* truth is on
this one. And perhaps other Tweeters have data...
