Folks,

One of my work colleagues and her family were fishing this past Sunday at
"Fish Lake", a little north of Plain and Nason Creek Campground in central
WA. A row of people had lines out, and one of the fisherfellers had a
bob......started reeling in. An osprey swept down and snatched the hooked
fish, a near-foot long rainbow trout. The bird gained elevation with the
fish still attached and the feller let his fishing line out to accomodate
the departing , burdened bird........and he wondered what he was going to
do when the line ran out!!!!

As it happened, the osprey dropped the fish, and flew on. The
astonished man reeled in his now limp line; lo and behold, the fish was
still hooked, wiggling weakly, with bloody talon marks in its body. The
man said this was the first fish he'd ever caught. What an adventure!
