This Saturday, May 11th, from 9AM til 7PM, PILCHUCK AUDUBON, in
conjunction with Snohomish County Parks, is hosting a day of
birding and activities on Spencer Island, in North Everett. All are
welcome. We will have several spotting stations set up with scopes.
There will be a satellite image and nature mapping demonstration from
1-2:30 pm. There will also be migration display information, a raffle,
and fun folks to visit and bird with, so come on down. Take I-5 North
to exit 195, turn L and follow the road to SR529 and turn R. Turn E. off
SR 529 just north of the Snohomish River bridge and follow the signs to
Spencer Island. From I-5 South bound take exit 199 to SR 529 South and
follow the signs, as above. Go past the Langus Riverfront Park, and
park under the I-5 overpass. Walk east, there will be signs leading you
