Scott Ray mentions birding is worse with his contacts in .... For me, it's
the other way around! Contacts allow a stronger prescription than I can
physically possibly achieve with glasses. I started out myopic but am now
basically focus-less, and gas permeable contacts do a mighty fine job.

Binocs with glasses don't work well for me, and binocs without correction
is a bit better than with glasses, but contact & binocs do a wonderful job!
