There has been an Evening Grosbeak "event" going on in my
neighborhood at least since the weekend. They are everywhere
in my suburban neighborhood (lots about 1/4 - 3/4 acre). I had
one eating from my large tube feeder (a little awkwardly),
perched directly across from an American Goldfinch yesterday.
Today there seem to be fewer birds around, but they are still
here.
