At 4:15 this afternoon, the snowy egret was at Budd Bay again.
This was about an hour before an 0.0 low tide. To find the egret, I took
the road to the East Bay Marina (going south on East Bay Drive, you turn
to the right), and parked at the second convenient (but unofficial) parking
area before
reaching the Marina. I walked along the trail back to the south, and
there was the bird. I was there for only a few minutes before a loudly
backfiring car scared the egret away--but at least that gave me a good
look at its feet!
