I hope this is an appropriate use of this alias. My wife and I are
amature bird watchers and had the good fortune of living in a house with a
robins nest right next to a window. There were three baby robins that
seemed to mature at slightly different rates. The first one flew right
out of the nest. The second, seemed to fall to the ground and just walk
around. My question is how do the adult robins handle this type of
situation. Do they continue to protect and feed the baby once it is out
of the nest. Can you point me to any information, on-line or otherwise
that would describe the parenting habits of birds in general and robins
specifically?

Thanks you very much for any information you can provide.
