Tweetsters,

Last night I did something to offend my computer, it took revenge by crashing
when told to send messages... When you read this you'll know the thing forgave
me and cooperated tonight...

I tried to mention that over the past week I too have seen Green Heron at
Green Lake, Seattle, on four separate occasions.

In addition, Spotted Sandpiper (one twice, two once) and Common Snipe (one
twice) enlivened my visits to the park also. These are regular spring visitors
these past years.

It appears the Killdeer are once again nesting on the third-floor roof of The
Heartstone (across the street from the park).

The past two weekly bird counts of the park netted me 56 (5/1/96) and 38
(5/9/96) Yellow-rumped Warblers. Male and female, Myrtles and Audubons. No
hybrids. So I must have missed some...

Happy birding,
Martin Muller, Seattle
