I have no doubt that the hummingbirds would do fine. They probably would
return to the feeders, but might find other food they enjoy more. Why not
just leave the feeders up with fresh syrup in them? I know that by
orthodoxy you would change the syrup more often than two weeks, but I doubt
a single two week lapse would be a problem.
