Two short questions...(1) I've heard rumors of an eagle nest at
Lincoln Park (Seattle) but have been unable to find one. Any confirmation,
and if so, what part of the park? And (2) the baseplate connecting my
spotting scope to its tripod broke, and is apparently of an unusual
size. So what the heck, might as well get a new tripod, right? (This one
is cheap and weak anyway.) Any suggestions for a tripod that's both
strong and lightweight, and not too expensive?
