Subject: Wayward Mallards

Ray,

We have a pair of mallards that have decided that our campus is a
great place to nest. Unfortunately, the only water is the fountain - which
has chemicals in it to prevent algae. We also have dogs in the area that may
harm the family. Our director of physical plant would like to move the
mallards. Since you live just down the hill from here, I thought you may have
knowledge of the area and can tell us how to gracefully coax the pair into
more hospitable surroundings. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
