I had the good fortune to go on the Saturday Westport pelagic outing with
Terry Wahl. The weather was raining at 6:00 a.m. and the passage out of the
harbor was rough, but it was broken sun with a manageable 5 - 10 foot swell
once out. The birds were awesome. My list is about 30 species I will only
list the Life List sitings for myself below. If you haven't done one of
these trips go for it. I was a little woozy a couple of times with the
large waves, but it was really worth it.

Pacific Loon
Laysan Albatross
Black Footed Albatross
Sabine's Gull
Norther Fullmar
Fork-Tailed Storm-Petrel
Sooty Shearwater
Pink-footed Shearwater
Parasitic Jaeger
Long-tailed Jaeger
Pomarine Jaeger
Marbled Murrelet
Red Phalarope
Common Tern
