Peggy Bartels, a Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife biologist
conducting surveys of western gray squirrels, has reportedly identified
bones of tree frogs in the stomachs of road-killed squirrels from the Methow
drainage. I don't know the time of year. It *is* relatively arid there!!??
