The Purple Peril is indeed returning in some spots, but I optimistically
think that it is controllable. I've been itching to do more work down
there, and what's there so far could be taken care of with one session.
Some of the piles re-sprouted, but if we capped them off somehow, I don't
think they'll be a problem. (John Hebert suspects the root balls that we
tossed on top late last fall)

Every time I stop by the pond, I just marvel at the change we made!
