Met a fellow at the Fill last week who said he'd just seen
an otter swimming in Stuart pond. Maybe some local
bachelor otter is scouting the Fill as a new territory?

I have myself seen beaver in the Fill; about 5 years ago
there was quite a busy beaver in residence for a few weeks.
Not enough forage for long-term residence, I guess.
