6:14pm November 2nd. Hi, This is Steve Mlodinow. Steve Pink and I birded
from Wesport to Raymond today. LARK BUNTING did not appear to be present.
There was a SNOW BUNTING on the Tokeland Marina Jetty found by Paul Hicks.
Also in that area there were one or two EARED GREBES. Also in Tokeland
there was a YELLOW-SHAFTED FLICKER. Closer to Raymond along the north edge
of Willapa Bay on the incoming tide we had 330 MARBLED GODWITS, 7 WILLETS,
and a large number of DUNLINS and assorted other more common species. At
the base of the Westport Jetty we had 5 ROCK SANDPIPERS, and there also
still a scattering of BROWN PELICANS hanging about. That's it, Good luck,
and good birding.

3:28pm November 2nd - Hi, This is Dave Beaudette at 206.365.2083. 2 SCRUB
JAYS were found today, November 2nd, in Snohomish county. To look for
these birds, go west from Marysville on Marine drive several miles to
Meridian Avenue North. Turn left and go five tenths of a mile to a
junction. Here take Priest Point Drive NE, for 6/1os of a mile to it's
dead end. The SCRUB JAYS were seen here on the abandoned buildings.

9:12am November 2nd - This is Bob Norton, Port Angeles. 260.928.3053. On
November 1st on a trip around Protection Island there was a good variety
of the usual and good numbers and best birds were up to 20 ANCIENT
MURRELETS. There is also today, Nov 2nd, A SNOWY OWL out on Ediz Hook and
it was reported about two days previously. This is probably a different
owl than the one we had earlier because it shows a lot more dark flecking
on it. Thank you.

8:27pm November 1st - Good evening. Michael Carmody, November 1st. There
is a SNOWY OWL also in Thurston County, was seen this afternoon for long
period of time right up to nightfall. On Spurgeon Creek Road, reached from
the Yelm Highway, which is reached from College or Ruddell Road. From I5
on College to Yelm highway, Yelm Highway to Spurgeon Creek Road, at that
intersection go 2.6 miles down the road is a view spot and a place to park
the car, and a place where the meadow can be viewed. This particular owl
is favoring the tops of fir trees and has been seen by a number of local
birders throughout the day on November 1st. Thank you, good birding!

7:09pm November 1st - Hello, this is Alan Richards, reporting seeing the
LARK BUNTING at Tokeland as previosuly described this morning between 7
and 8am. Thank you.

6:13pm November 1st - Hello, this is Steve Pink of Bellevue, phone number
603.0736. There's an adult SNOWY OWL at Edmonds this evening off the
fishing pier on the rocky jetty srrounding the marina at the southern end
of that. Clearly viewable from the fishing pier. It was present from at
least 4:30 to 5pm. Thank you.

6:00pm November 1st - Hello, this is Alan Knue 206.640.3315 reporting for
the coast, Tokeland to Ocean Shores. At Tokeland the LARK BUNTING coulnd
not be found although I did find a WHITE_THROATED SPARROW in the same
spot. Later at Westport Jetty there was a flock of about 30 SNOW BUNTINGS,
and later at Ocean Shores at Damon point there was one PACIFIC GOLDEN
PLOVER pretty close to the end of the road in salicornia. At the jetty
lots of ROCK PIPERS including about 15 rock. You have to walk out pretty
far to see them but you can get really close and get great looks.

10:37pm Oct 31st - Hi this is Jim Flynn in Renton at 206.772.5568. Today
Oct 31 there were a couple of SHORT-EARTED OWLS along Russell Road in
Kent. They were between the graded fields to the east of Russell Road as
you walk to the Kent Ponts. The birds were seen at about 4:30 pm. There
was also one SNIPE and about 100 CACKLING CANADA GEESE in the area.

3:45pm Oct 31 - Happy Halloween, this is Scott Atkinson. Just wanted to
report at lunchtime today I had no trouble finding the SCRUB JAY
previously reported from Queen Anne Hill. The bird seems to frequent a
feeder at 1401 W Bertona or is in the immediate vicinity. I had the bird
actually just south at a residence about three houses down. Good birding.

2:45pm Oct 31 - Hello this is Patrick Sullivan reporting from Tacoma,
Washington, 206.564.7419. The LARK BUNTING was again seen this morning
between 10 and 12pm. Other birds in the area included also one NORTHERN
MOCKINGBIRD between 11 and 12pm and two HERMIT THRUSHES. Thank you, good
luck and good birding.
