Well tweets, it's come to that time in my life where I must bid you all
good-bye, as we prepare for our move to California on Thursday. I will no
longer subscribe to tweeters, but may check the digest now and then from
CA. Three years of tweetering has been fun and educational for me. I've
always appreciated the intelligent discussions (and occasional bouts of
punning). It is a refreshing forum, especially compared to a certain
'chatty' forum which is far too chatty. Thanks to all of you who
contributed in some way, either by submitting records via email, or by
going out into the field and picking up blocks, to the Breeding Bird Atlas
project. The final draft is complete, and will be submitted in two days.
A final product could be on bookstore shelves by January at the earliest,
or pending unforseen delays, at least before the 1997 breeding season
begins.

It was a treat meeting many of you at the Yak-a-thon this year, and at the
WOS convention.

Just to let y'all know, I declined the Camp Pendleton job in favor of one
with the US Fish and Wildlife Service in Carlsbad. If any of you are ever
in Oceanside or Carlsbad, look me up.
