Hello Tweets- I just happened to glance outside of my office window and
noticed a group of 31 Canada Geese having breakfast on the lawn. One of
the them has only a few white feathers on its cheek, appearing completely
black at a glance. I have noted other Canada Geese recently with reduced
white on the cheek- sometimes only a narrow stripe- but not an individual
with as little white as this one. Have others observed similar variation?
I am sure that individuals with no white on the cheeks are very possible,
but has anyone ever seen one? AJ
